Parenting Partnership Program

The Parenting Partnership Program provides a trained home visitor to work with parents in their homes. Working side-by-side with families, the home visitor helps them to build on their strengths and helps them to reach their goals to become more effective parents. The Parenting Partner will work directly with parents to:

  • Offer support,
  • Help parents learn age appropriate discipline techniques,
  • Access community resources,
  • Find employment, training, or educational opportunities,
  • Locate adequate housing,
  • Manage house related issues such as budgeting.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Most families are served through a closed referral system which must come through the Family Networks. We welcome all other parents, who would like to strengthen their parenting skills, to inquire about the program by calling the above number.

FUNDING SOURCES: Department of Children and Families
and the Northern Berkshire United Way.
