Lynette Ritland Bond, Vice- Chair

Lynette is the Grants Coordinator for the Adams MA Community Development Office. She received her master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from New School University and her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and International Studies from Iowa State University. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer for two  years in Honduras as an economic development advisor to the local high school and area cooperatives. She worked six years at Columbia University in Communications,managing large-scale transformation initiatives before moving to North Adams. As a volunteer,Lynette organized the Friends of North Adams Schools group to promote the recent renovation of the Colegrove School in North Adams,which opened recently. She was also a parent volunteer for CCB’s Family Center and received a Parent Leadership Award from Children’s Trust. She was elected to the CCB’s Board of Directors  in 2012 and serves as Treasurer.
