FIRST AID FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN

May 21  5:30 – 6:30 at Haskins Center

210 State Street, North Adams

The North Adams Ambulance will present basic techniques of First
Aid and CPR for infants and children.  Parents will learn what to do
in case of childhood emergencies such as choking and bleeding.
This is not a certification class.  It is designed for families with
young children  and infants to learn emergency responses until
an ambulance arrives.

Three StoryWalks will take place in Adams, North Adams and

Williamstown during the weeks of  April 16-29.

Adams StoryWalk will take place on Park Street and end at the Adams Library.

North Adams StoryWalk will take place on Main Street and end at the North Adams Library.

Williamstown StoryWalk  will take place on the grounds of the Williamstown Public Library.

These Storywalks are part of Wee Read Berkshire County events in collaboration with the Berkshire

Compact for Education and other community programs and libraries.

In this workshop we will explore together the

reasons that some kids have so much energy, how to help guide children who are

in constant motion and how to prevent problems that can

occur with high energy kids.  This will be an upbeat informative workshop

that is presented by Scott Noyes, a well known author,

speaker and expert on children.

A puppet Show for Families is being planned on
Saturday, March 24th at 11:00 a.m.
Place:  St Patrick’s and Raphael’s Parish Center,
Southworth Street, Williamstown, MA

Bring the whole family and be entertained by a
Princess, a Magical Bird, a Silly Dragon, a King,
and a Fairy in a performance of “The Three Dreams”.

This will be followed by a “meet and greet” with the
puppets.  All families with young children are
invited to attend.
